Warpwire follows the principle of least privilege and employ whitelisting rather than blacklisting. In practice, this means that access to hosts, files, and networking is explicitly given only as needed, rather than restricted where deemed harmful. Additionally, User data is segmented by Client and maintained in siloed client databases to prevent data leakage between Clients. For individual User data within each database, we employ permission checks on all data requests to ensure that Users only have access to User data or media assets that they have been given explicit permission to view/edit.
Warpwire sets up controlled instances of our Application for our Clients and trusted service partners. All information uploaded and stored on each instance of our Application is maintained by our Clients. Thus, Warpwire is the Data Processor carrying out data processing activities on behalf of each Client. Each Client operates as a Data Controller, and are thus responsible for protecting your rights under the GDPR regulation.
